Terms of use

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Dahu AI service provided by webaddict.ch. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. They supplement the terms of sale applicable to subscriptions and credit purchases.

1. Purpose of the service

Dahu AI is an AI assistance platform offering multimodal conversations with several AI models, specialised Personas and features designed for professionals.

2. Registration and account

Registration requires a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Credits and subscriptions

Using the service consumes credits depending on the model and request type. Credits may come from:

  • a monthly subscription (Basic, Plus, Pro plans);
  • credit pack purchases (one-off payment);
  • dedicated Persona credits you subscribe to.

Prices, plans and quotas are described on the subscription page. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled under the stated conditions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes;
  • attempt to bypass technical or security limitations;
  • share or resell your access without authorisation;
  • transmit unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights.

If you fail to comply, we may suspend or terminate your account.

5. Intellectual property and content

Content you enter remains your property. By using the service, you grant us the rights needed to process and transmit your data to AI providers in order to deliver the service. AI-generated responses are indicative and do not constitute legal, medical or other professional advice.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability and quality but cannot guarantee the absence of interruptions or errors. Our liability is limited to the amounts you actually paid during the twelve months preceding the event, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Unused credits at termination are not refunded. We may terminate your account for a serious breach of the Terms or any other legitimate reason.

8. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts at the provider’s registered office in Switzerland.

9. Changes

We may amend these Terms. Users are informed by email or via a notice in the service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Terms of sale

These terms of sale apply to paid purchases on the service (subscriptions, credit packs and related options), in addition to the Terms and the information on the subscription page at the time of order.

Price and payment. Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), taxes included where required by law. Payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). You authorise the corresponding charges for the services you subscribe to.

No mid-period refund. Except where mandatory law requires otherwise or these terms expressly provide otherwise, no refund or credit is due if you cancel a subscription before the end of a billing period already started: you keep access until that period ends, without a pro-rata refund.

Credits. Credits purchased or granted under an offer cannot be cashed out, have a usage period matching the conditions shown at purchase or renewal, and are not refunded if unused, including on termination or end of contract, subject to the withdrawal right described below.

Withdrawal right (first purchase). Where you have a statutory consumer withdrawal right, it may be exercised within 14 days of the first paid purchase on your account only. Subscription renewals and later purchases are not covered by this cooling-off period, subject to any different mandatory rules.

You acknowledge that the withdrawal right ends when you requested immediate supply of the digital content or service and, before the cooling-off period expired, you expressly consented to performance starting and thereby waived the right where the law so provides, or when you made a first use meaning: any request to the service API that consumes credits.

Invoice disputes. For any dispute relating to an invoice or charge, you may write to contact@dahuai.ch.
